The Dark
I used to think that death was something to fear. I used to think that it was inevitable, that there was nothing I could do to avoid it. That scared me, to the point that I just gave up on life. I threw away everything I ever knew. Pushed away everyone that could have ever really cared for me. For some death comes quickly and in the night. For others, those who seek it, death cannot come soon enough. Some believe death is the ultimate ending. I know different. Some things are worse than death. For some death coming quickly in the night means leaving this place behind. Sometimes leaving this place behind in the night means something completely different. My name is Nathaniel Ross Hayle, and I have lived for too many deaths.
